Enameling is an art applied to gold, silver, and copper. 80-micron copper plates are cut with a fret saw to create leaf shapes, then colored with glass powder. These are then kiln-dried at temperatures between 750°C and 920°C. The front and back sides are colored differently, allowing for a variety of uses.

The apparatus is coated and does not cause allergies, and its material is yellow metal.
